“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”

Rumi

As a yoga teacher diagnosed with PTSD, I looked for ways to heal myself using yoga and other somatic therapies. Not only did my PTSD symptoms disappear over time, I felt more whole and present than ever before. The desire to share what healed me with others fuels my ongoing studies and work.

In my work I bring together Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive yoga, Somatic Experiencing and iRest meditation to support my clients in cultivating a more resilient nervous system and a greater capacity to meet the overwhelm of daily life.

I am a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Australia, a Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga  facilitator, an iRest meditation teacher and supervisor and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.

I work in private practice and at the Mental Health wards of Lismore Base Hospital. I also offer regular classes, courses and workshops.

I was born and raised in The Netherlands, spent time living, working and studying in Asia, and have now settled in Australia. I live with my husband on a green hilltop in the Rainbow Region of the Northern Rivers, NSW.
